This website attempts to identify all of the major and minor British coin varieties from 1838 to 1971, from Fractional Farthings through to Crowns. Minor varieties are often only able to be identified in coins of higher grades, EF and above. Hopefully it can become the most comprehensive correlation of the coin catalogue authors most commonly quoted by auction houses and dealers when listing their coins for sale. If you should identify any errors or omissions, I would love to hear from you via the 'Contact Me' section on the site, If you have any Obverse and Reverse images of coins that I have not covered, I would love to receive them.
